Spiritual gift of Prophecy: from the Institute in Basic Life Principles
A Christian’s motivational spiritual gift represents what God does in him to shape his perspective on life and motivate his words and actions. Romans 12:3–8 describes “basic motivations,” which are characterized by inherent qualities or abilities within a believer—the Creator’s unique workmanship in him or her.
Through the motivational gifts, God makes believers aware of needs that He wants to meet through them, for His glory. Then, believers can minister to others through the ministry and manifestation gifts of the Spirit, in ways beyond mere human capability and ingenuity, with maximum effectiveness and minimum weariness.
Each person’s behavior will vary according to factors such as temperament, background, age, gender, culture, and circumstances. However, it is not unusual for individuals who share the same motivational gift to demonstrate common characteristics. Below are some general characteristics that are typically exhibited by those who have the motivational gift of prophecy.
General Characteristics
A prophet’s basic motivational drive is to apply the Word of God to a situation so that sin is exposed and relationships are restored. Prophets might be considered the “trumpets” of the Body of Christ who sound the alarm in the face of sin and compromise.
A prophet calls attention to sin and wrong attitudes.
The prophet is passionate about exposing sin, but not primarily so that sinners can be punished. Rather, he is passionate about exposing sin so that truth can be revealed and fellowship with God can be restored.
A prophet has a God-given ability to sense when compromises are being made, and his nature demands that action be taken—something must be done. This action may take the form of an overt protest or confrontation, or it may take the form of a conversation or correspondence.
For a prophet, any solution that involves compromise is unacceptable. For the prophet, to observe or discern sin and say nothing is, of itself, sin. Naturally, knowing that a prophet has this perspective tends to make some of us feel intimidated or uncomfortable around them—even when we are guiltless! The prophet’s abhorrence of sin can easily be viewed as a judgmental spirit, and no one wants to be the object of that judgment.
The prophet often displays the spiritual gift of discerning of spirits; he is able to discern true motives as the Holy Spirit gives him divine insights. As a general rule, the prophet is more interested in whether or not the heart is pure than whether or not the activity in question is acceptable.
Prophets are usually outspoken, sometimes brash; they tell it like it is.They tend to see issues as “black or white,” not “gray.”
A Prophet’s Strengths
A prophet is confident in his use of Scripture, because he regards Scripture as the only source of truth. * A mature prophet easily discerns hypocrisy, because God has gifted him to discern Truth. From the Institute in Basic Life Principles
I have noticed that some people are under the misconception that ‘works’ will get them saved, or in a higher position with God. If you say that your a good person, look at the 10 commandments. If you’ve broken even one, according to God’s word; you’ve broken them all. That doesn’t mean we don’t have a way to Salvation. Very simply Salvation comes only from the grace of God. “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
I know that none of us are capable of not making mistakes, but through Jesus we always have His Blood to cover our sins. That of course is not a license to do as you wish. This is a reminder that we should always strive to do His will.
Lets take an Old Testament law given to the Jews. Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. * When He gave Moses the laws it had a lot to do with what they learned in Egypt. Much of it was to point to the true path. No I am not saying to ignore things like “Thou shall not murder”
In the New Testament [Covenant] the Church was given new information. Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
We should always do our best to worship God in all our ways. But remember we lose much when we try to force people. Don’t lay extra burdens on others thinking your helping them. Guidance should be given with love.
Jesus walked upon this earth. He was born and He died. How do we know this? We know it for three reasons.
The Personal Witness Of The Saints
Acts 10:39-41 says, “And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: Him God raised up the third day, and showed Him openly; not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with Him after He rose from the dead.”
Over 500 people saw Jesus after His death and most of these died because of their belief. Let me say, a man may live for a lie, but would he die for one?
The Prophetic Witness Of The Scriptures
Acts 10:43 says, “To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins.” When the writer says “all the prophets,” he is talking about the prophets from Genesis to Malachi (remember, the New Testament hadn’t been written yet).
In Genesis 3, we read about the One who will bruise the head of the serpent. In Genesis 12, He is going to come from the seed of Abraham. In Genesis 22, we read about the sacrifice of Isaac on the very mountain where Jesus was later crucified! The entire book of Leviticus is filled with pictures of blood-atoning sacrifices for sin. You’ll read about the prophetic crucifixion of Jesus in Psalm 22. In Micah 5:2, it is told clearly that Jesus will be born in Bethlehem.
I could go on and on, but the bottom line is: there is but one plan of salvation in all the Bible and that is through the blood-atoning sacrifice of the God-Man, Jesus Christ.
The Powerful Witness Of The Spirit
The Holy Spirit takes the Word of God and says, “Amen. It is written. It is truth.” I thank God that I don’t have to try and talk you into believing Jesus. If there’s anything I can talk you into, there’s someone who can talk you right out of it!
1 John 5:9-11 says, “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself: he that believes not God has made him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.”

When God said, “I AM WHO I AM,” repeating “I AM” twice, He is stating His name, (LORD) Yahweh—His name forever. God was in effect, saying, He is. Period. He is stating He is the Eternal One who has no beginning or end. He is the really real, the ultimate reality—all reality is according to His will. Because He is Truth, His truth is absolute. I AM speaks to His omnipotence, omnipresence, and omniscience in and for all time. God is constant, and is in the past, the present, and the future. This baffles us because we live in a timeline of life, but God transcends all earthy patterns. Because He is God, there are many things about Him that will never be understandable, even when we reach glory. And that’s okay because He is God!’ ‘copied’
Don’t forget that Jesus is the I AM. Jesus in the New Testament is Yahweh. Please understand that claiming to be God or using His name as your own, is blasphemy.
“In the 1930s, a missionary asked an African girl of about six or seven years of age a most pertinent question: ‘Who is Jesus Christ?’ With a smile on her face, she responded cheerfully: ‘He is my Saviour and He lives within my heart.’
MATTERS OF FAITH. THE SCRIPTURE
We believe that the 66 books of the Bible which comprise the Old and New Testaments (Genesis to Revelation) are the only inspired and authoritative Scriptures to mankind. The Scriptures speak with a unique authority and are therefore the Sola Fide Regula {sole rule of faith} in the Christian life. GOD
We affirm that there is one, everlasting and true God who is a tri-unity of persons. God the Father from whom all blessings flow. The Son through whom and for whom all things were made. The Holy Spirit who is God’s personal and transforming presence.
SALVATION
We believe that the only ground for humanity’s acceptance by God is the work of Jesus, God’s Son, on the cross. Jesus died for us to redeem us from the curse of sin, rose from the dead to vindicate his claim of Lordship, ascended to the right hand of God’s throne in heaven, and now has poured out the Holy Spirit on all who believe in Christ. We affirm that salvation is by grace through faith alone, but produces a life of benevolent service to others. ‘copied’

1 – First Important Lesson – Cleaning Lady. During my second month of college, our professor Gave us a pop quiz. I was a conscientious student. And had breezed through the questions until I read The last one: “What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?” Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the Cleaning woman several times. She was tall, Dark-haired and in her 50’s, but how would I know her name?I handed in my paper, leaving the last question Blank.
Just before class ended, one student asked if The last question would count toward our quiz grade.“ Absolutely, ” said the professor. “In your careers, You will meet many people. All are significant…
They Deserve your attention and care, even if all you doIls smile and say “hello.
”I’ve never forgotten that lesson. I also learned her name was Dorothy.
2. – Second Important Lesson – Pickup in the Rain One night at 11:30 p.m., an older African American Woman was standing on the side of an Alabama highway Trying to endure a lashing rain storm. Her car had Broken down and she desperately needed a ride. Soaking wet, she decided to flag down the next car. A young white man stopped to help her, generally Unheard of in those conflict-filled 1960’s.
The man Took her to safety, helped her get assistance and Put her into a taxicab. She seemed to be in a big hurry, but wrote down his Address and thanked him. Seven days went by and a Knock came on the man’s door. To his surprise, a Giant console color TV was delivered to his home. A Special note was attached. It read: “Thank you so much for assisting me on the highway The other night. The rain drenched not only my Clothes, but also my spirits. Then you came along. Because of you, I was able to make it to my dying Husband’s’ bedside just before he passed away…God Bless you for helping me and unselfishly serving Others.”Sincerely, Mrs. Nat King Cole.
3 – Third Important Lesson – Always remember those Who serve. In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, A 10-year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and Sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in Front of him. “How much is an ice cream sundae?” he asked. “Fifty cents,” replied the waitress. The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and Studied the coins in it. “Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?” he inquired. By now more people were waiting for a table and the Waitress was growing impatient. “Thirty-five cents,” she brusquely replied. The little boy again counted his coins. “I’ll have the plain ice cream,” he said. The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on The table and walked away. The boy finished the ice Cream, paid the cashier and left.
When the waitress Came back, she began to cry as she wiped down theTable. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, Were two nickels and five pennies. You see, he couldn’t have the sundae, because he had To have enough left to leave her a tip.
4 – Fourth Important Lesson.. – The obstacle in Our Path. In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a Roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if Anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the King’s wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by And simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did Anything about getting the stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of Vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded.
After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understand! Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.
5 – Fifth Important Lesson – Giving When it Counts…Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness.
The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister.
I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, “Yes I’ll do it if it will save her.” As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, “Will I start to die right away”. Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.
There are many misconceptions about the identity of the Holy Spirit. Some view the Holy Spirit as a mystical force. Others understand the Holy Spirit as the impersonal power that God makes available to followers of Christ. What does the Bible say about the identity of the Holy Spirit? Simply put, the Bible declares that the Holy Spirit is God. The Bible also tells us that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, a being with a mind, emotions, and a will.
The fact that the Holy Spirit is God is clearly seen in many Scriptures, including Acts 5:3-4. In this verse Peter confronts Ananias as to why he lied to the Holy Spirit and tells him that he had “not lied to men but to God.” It is a clear declaration that lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God. We can also know that the Holy Spirit is God because He possesses the characteristics of God. For example, His omnipresence is seen in Psalm 139:7-8, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.” Then in 1 Corinthians 2:10-11, we see the characteristic of omniscience in the Holy Spirit. “But God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
We can know that the Holy Spirit is indeed a divine person because He possesses a mind, emotions, and a will. The Holy Spirit thinks and knows (1 Corinthians 2:10). The Holy Spirit can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30). The Spirit intercedes for us (Romans 8:26-27). He makes decisions according to His will (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). The Holy Spirit is God, the third Person of the Trinity. As God, the Holy Spirit can truly function as the Comforter and Counselor that Jesus promised He would be (John 14:16, 26, 15:26).

So I’ve been hearing a lot about the teachings of Heathenism, Unitarianism, and Islam. Although there may be others as well; all these beliefs DENY that Jesus is God, they say that the Godhead (the Trinity) is a lie that was taken from pagan beliefs. Is this true?
What is the Trinity? Well if there’s one thing that must be made clear it’s the fact that the Biblical Trinity was NOT gotten from pagan religions. Why? Because all the apostles of Jesus taught and believed this! But why, why did they believe this, they were all Jews why did they believe all this? Well it’s obvious that they didn’t have a Bible so does that mean the Old Testament Scriptures taught this? Obviously YES!
In the gospel of John the apostle John identified Jesus as “the Word of God” which according to the Holy Ghost’s inspiration on him was the Word that became flesh. Now do you know that this Word is mentioned exceptionally various times in the Old Testament? “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day…” Genesis 3:8: do voices WALK? No. But here it reads that God’s Voice was “walking” in the garden, why? Because this was the Word mentioned in John 1:1 that was made flesh as the Lord Jesus. There are also other places where the Word of God is said to have “come/came” to certain people, now understand that is a verb and speaks of action »» : Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”
1 Samuel 15:10 Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel: 2 Samuel 7:4 And it came to pass that night, that the word of the LORD came unto Nathan: 1 Kings 6:11 And the word of the LORD came to Solomon: 1 Kings 12:22 But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God:
1 Kings 16:1 Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha…:…and there are a lot of other verses that speak of the Word of God coming to people. Yes you might say, but this is just speaking of things God said to people. Well if that was the case then you must understand that this Word of God is NOT the same as every other word of every other being. This Word possesses power, and this Word is God, this Word is why the men of old could know God. It was not just “sound” from the mouth of God but more than that it was God coming to His people. Whenever a prophet heard the Word of God to them it wasn’t just like hearing any news, rather it was as though they ENCOUNTERED God personally! Yes at times angels in representing God speak the Word of God to men but none the less they never speak the Word of God as their own but as the Word of the LORD GOD.
No matter the argument the fact remains clear that God’s Word is the most important topic discussed in the Old Testament! And also the Word of God could never come to anyone without the Holy Spirit of God working one in one with the Word. Read the Scriptures they prove this!
But what does all this mean? In all my years of study of the Bible I’ve had issues understanding the Trinity in the Old Testament but as you can read clearly in the Old Testament the Trinity has always been there. God (the Father), the Word of God (Jesus the Christ), and the Spirit of God (the Holy Ghost). It’s really funny the amount of people that do not notice this, and this is the truth. Right from the beginning God has always been triune, but until Jesus God was not triune in persons but triune in person. Only in the New Testament is God one in three “persons” but prior to this God was three in one, that is in personality.
John wrote: “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” 1 John 5:7: this is speaking of the Trinity of God in personality BEFORE the Word of God was made flesh at the birth of Christ. You see God is ONE and only ONE, but “God” is not a name it is a word (always remember that). Idols are called “God”, angels are called “God” as well, even humans in some cultures were believed to have been “God” too, so exactly how was the true Creator meant to differentiate Himself from all these false “God’s”? They were all beings of their own, who were acclaimed to be able to do exactly what God can do, they were even believed to have been the creator(s) of the whole universe.
So exactly what could God be that they (false gods) can not be that would draw all men unto Him?: “Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.” Acts 2:22-24: Now please I want you to note down the word “foreknowledge”, in the context here by virtue of that word it means God has ALWAYS had the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus in His knowledge, now understand that this doesn’t mean God was thinking about this but rather God KNEW this! In this sense we are therefore at the conclusion that the LORD God had KNOWN His Son right from before the beginning of the world and this my friend is the difference.
The only thing that made God different from those false gods, the only thing that made God true and they false was that He and His Word and His Spirit although one were all in harmony one WITH the other and in so doing the Voice of God walked and came and spoke to people, the Spirit of God anointed men that they would be holy and know the truth that they would be sons of God and be blessed. And by so doing love for God sprouted within the man so that he knew God as His personal Creator.
The same issue is here as well where you find God making His unique Word (His good news / Gospel) flesh (human) and in so doing personalized His Word as the man Jesus who is Himself God. A lot of people then might ask, but why then is the Spirit of God personalized when it was only the Word that was made flesh? Well the answer is simple, wherever the Word of God is the Spirit is with the Word. so when the Word was personalized so was the Spirit within the Word (Jesus) because Jesus is the complete Word of God which is the gospel of salvation which testifies and declares the Father.
YOU are triune too with a spirit, soul, and body so live for Him, live for God our Saviour!
John 1:14 “And the Word was MADE FLESH, and DWELT AMONG US, (and we beheld HIS GLORY, the glory as of the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the Father,) FULL of grace and truth.”
1 John 4:2 “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that CONFESSES that Jesus Christ IS COME IN THE FLESH is of God:”
Jesus IS God and the Savior of the whole world!‘ Author unkown’
“I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: “I’m ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don’t accept His claim to be God.” That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic, on a level with the man who says he is a poached egg, or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.” C.S. Lewis
In what Christians call the Old Testament there are 16 prophecies that point to Jesus [Yeshua]
There are many things written about him in all the books of the Bible, lets take a look at what was told about his coming and life.
1. Seed of Woman; Genesis Chapter 3
2. Born in Bethlehem; Michah 5
3. The time of his coming; Daniel 9
4. To be born of a virgin; Isaiah 7
5. Slaughter of the innocents; Jeremiah 31
6. Ascension to the Father’s right hand; Psalm 68
7. Flight to Egypt; Hosea 11
8. Declared the Son of God; Psalm 2
9. Galilean ministry; Isaiah 9
10. A prophet; Deuteronomy 18
11. To heal the broken hearted; Isaiah 61
12. Rejected by his own people; Isaiah 53
13. Triumphal entry; Zechariah 9
14. Betrayed by a friend; Psalm 41
15. Sold for 30 pieces of silver; Psalm 41
16. Accused by false witnesses; Psalm 35
The odds of just 7 of these things being fulfilled by one person is about 1 in 10 to the 17th power. If you read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. You’ll find that he fulfilled all of them.
According to Dr. David R. Reagan of Lamb and Lion Ministries;
He fulfilled more than one hundred distinctively different, specific prophecies about the Messiah’s First Advent.
Matthew 1:25 King James Bible
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. That means; But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus. Mary did not die a virgin. Jesus’ brothers and sisters. The Gospel of Mark 6:3 and the Gospel of Matthew 13:55–56 state that James, Joses (or Joseph), Jude and Simon were the brothers of Jesus, the son of Mary. The same verses also mention unnamed sisters of Jesus.
“The claim of resurrection is vital to Christianity.
If Christ has been raised from the dead by God, then he has the credentials and certification that no other religious leader possesses. Buddha is dead. Muhammad is dead. Moses is dead. Confucius is dead. But, according to Christianity, Christ is alive.” R.C. Sproul
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” John 1:1-3 * His agency in making the world, John 1:3. This is here, (1.) Expressly asserted: All things were made by him. He was with God, not only so as to be acquainted with the divine counsels from eternity, but to be active in the divine operations in the beginning of time. Then was I by him, Prov. 8:30. God made the world by a word (Ps. 33:6) and Christ was the Word. By him, not as a subordinate instrument, but as a co-ordinate agent, God made the world (Heb. 1:2), not as the workman cuts by his axe, but as the body sees by the eye. (2.) The contrary is denied: Without him was not any thing made that was made, from the highest angel to the meanest worm. God the Father did nothing without him in that work. Now, [1.] This proves that he is God; for he that built all things is God, Heb. 3:4. The God of Israel often proved himself to be God with this, that he made all things: Isa. 40:12, 28; 31:4; and see Jer. 10:11, 12. [2.] This proves the excellency of the Christian religion, that the author and founder of it is the same that was the author and founder of the world. How excellent must that constitution needs be which derives its institution from him who is the fountain of all excellency! When we worship Christ, we worship him to whom the patriarchs gave honour as the Creator of the world, and on whom all creatures depend. [3.] This shows how well qualified he was for the work of our redemption and salvation. Help was laid upon one that was mighty indeed; for it was laid upon him that made all things; and he is appointed the author of our bliss who was the author of our being. Matthew Henry
“The plainest reason why the Son of God is called the Word, seems to be, that as our words explain our minds to others, so was the Son of God sent in order to reveal his Father’s mind to the world. What the evangelist says of Christ proves that he is God. He asserts, His existence in the beginning; His coexistence with the Father. The Word was with God. All things were made by him, and not as an instrument. Without him was not any thing made that was made, from the highest angel to the meanest worm. This shows how well qualified he was for the work of our redemption and salvation.
The light of reason, as well as the life of sense, is derived from him, and depends upon him. This eternal Word, this true Light shines, but the darkness comprehends it not. Let us pray without ceasing, that our eyes may be opened to behold this Light, that we may walk in it; and thus be made wise unto salvation, by faith in Jesus Christ.” Matthew Henry
To any Muslims that insists that the Bible doesn’t show where Jesus said I am God worship me. Please show me where Jesus says don’t worship me, I’m just a prophet.
“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace, There will be no end. Upon the thrown of David and over His Kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice. from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7. In Isaiah 53:4-6, the prophet Isaiah, who lived about 700 years before the time of Jesus, prophesied that the Messiah would suffer for the sins of others:
“Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.” 1 Corinthians 10:1-4
In the passages above Paul is telling us that Christ was the one who spoke to Moses. The God of the Old Testament is Jesus in the New Testament! Lets look at what else has been said about Jesus. “God replied to Moses, I Am Who I Am. Say to this to the people of Israel, I Am has sent me to you. God also said to moses, Say this to the people of Israel: Yahweh, the God of your ancestors- the God of Abraham, the God of Issac, and the God of Jacob-has sent me to you. This is my eternal name, my name to remember for all generations.” Exodus 3:14-1
“Are you greater than our father Abraham? He died, and so did the Prophets.
Who do you think you are? Jesus answered. If I want glory for myself, it doesn’t count. but it is my Father who will glorify me. You say. He is our God, but you don’t even know Him. I know Him. If I said otherwise, I would be as great a liar as you! But I do know and obey Him. Your father Abraham rejoiced as he looked forward to my coming. He saw it and was glad. The people said, You aren’t even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham? Jesus answered, I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I Am.” [Yahweh] John 8:53-58
“By the word of the Lord [Shema] the heavens were made, And all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.” Psalm 33:6
“Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded; and it stood fast.” Psalm 33:8-9; John 1:1-3
“Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb; I Am the Lord, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone; Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself.” Isaiah 44:24
“For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised; He is also to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But the Lord made the heavens.” 1 Chronicles 16:25-26
“Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? Jesus said, I Am.[Yahweh] And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” Mark 14:61b-62
“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Evan so, Amen. I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, Says the Lord, who is and was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:7-8
“For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, and the Water, and the Blood; and these three agree as one. 1 John 5:7-8

Sproul
THE CONFLICT OF THE CHRIST
“Think of Christ correctly. Take Him out of the man class. Put Him in the God class. He never had a beginning. He is an eternal being. Associate yourself with Him and you will become a recipient of the same eternal life that we saw manifested in during the days of His flesh. He was born into this life for a purpose.
We saw at Bethlehem was the consummation of that plan, the materialization of the original conception in the mind of the Infinite. Jesus Christ did not come to reform but to transform. Not to repair but to replace. Not to save us from wrong-doing but to save us from wrong-being. He came to bring life. The natural man is dead in trespasses and sin. He said: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
The personality of Jesus Christ is the hub, the great central fact of all Scripture. Both the Old and New Testaments and are woven around His majestic personality. He was born in a supernatural way. He lived in poverty. He grew up in obscurity. He had no wealth. He attended no college. Yet the profoundest wisdom of men has never equaled His discourses.
The record says: “Never man spake like this man.” He associated with sinners. He ate with publicans. In fact, one had to be a sinner to attract His attention. He said: “The Son of man is come to seek and to save, that which was lost.” He has power to transform human lives. He specializes in making bad people good. That is the greatest of all miracles, transforming sinners into saints. He never mobilized an army, drafted a soldier, or fired a gun. Yet no military leader has ever enlisted as many volunteers as those who take orders from Him. Great men have come and gone. He lives on.
Herod could not kill Him. People at a religious service could not stone Him. Satan could not tempt Him. Death could not destroy Him. The grave could not contain Him. Demons obeyed Him. He fed a hungry multitude with the lunch of a small boy. He broke up funerals. He gave life back to those who were dead. He said: I am the resurrection and the life.” He conquered death. He rose on the third day as He had previously announced. He ascended into heaven. He sits at the right hand of the Majesty on high. He is the perfect One. He is the chief among ten thousands. He alone can satisfy the soul and give everlasting life to those who will accept. He is altogether lovely.”
Dr. Gerald B. Winrod
“This most beautiful system of Sun, Planets, Comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful being”… “This being governs all things, not as the Soul of the world, but as L’ord over all; and on account of His dominion He is wont to be called L’ord God.” Sir Issac Newton
“You cannot receive what Jesus gives and refuse who Jesus is.” “We can’t confess Him as Lord and serve any other master.” Dr. Adrian Rogers
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24
In the book of Luke chapter 1, verses 31-33 there are six promises concerning Jesus. The first three have been fulfilled.
The last three are yet to happen.
1. You will conceive a son.
2. He will be called Jesus.
3. He will be called the Son of the Highest.
4. The Lord God will give Him the thrown of His father David.
5. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever.
6. Of His kingdom there will be no end.

“At it’s highest level, wisdom focuses us on a direct, personal relationship with God.” Clifford and Johnson
“An unbeliever asked me a question about an hour ago.. He said: BETWEEN JESUS CHRIST AND GOD, WHO WAS CRUCIFIED since He is God??””
These are some of the questions they normally askes some un-equiped believers to create confusions into the heart of that believer..
Now, let me tell you…
The bible reveal the existence of God’s nature as a truine GOD. WHAT AM SAYING IN ESSENCE is that the true nature of God’s existence is : FATHER, WORD, AND HOLY SPIRIT.. This defines the GODHEAD…
God existed as FATHER, God existed as THEWORD, and God existed as THE HOLYSPIRIT… this truine nature of God existed at the same time, the same place, all equal and are of the same being; SAME NATURE but differs in function… Their differences in function defined their entity in the GODHEAD… NOW, In the nature of God’s existence as; FATHER, THE WORD AND HOLY SPIRIT, the Power to deliver a man ( humans ) from eternal damnation is ONLY in the POWER of the Word… This means that, the ability of God to save His people from eternal condemnation is in the Power of His Word.. God can ONLY save man through His Word… This is why God now sent out His Word and the Word was made manifested in flesh as recorded in john1:14… This Word, manifested in flesh for the purpose of the fulfillment of all things and at the END, the flesh should be condemned and made to become a sinner. This means that, the sins of many shall be put upon Him so that He will be condemned in these sins, nailed them on the cross that He may die with the sins, conquer the sins with the grave and take up His body again.. He Himself was not dead but ONLY put the sinful nature to death so that they will be no more to caused man into eternal damnation as well as to conquered the death and the grave. ITS NOT POSSIBLE FOR THE POWER OF THE GRAVE TO HOLD HIM…

Two Israeli Jews explain the gospel in Jerusalem like you’ve never heard before!
Christianity verses other religions. Definition of God:
Christian Science:
God is All in all. God, Spirit, being all, nothing is matter. God is incorporeal, Divine, Supreme, Infinite mind, spirit soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love. God is infinate, the only Life, substance, Spirit or Soul. The only intelligence of the universe, including man. Life, Truth, and Love constitute the triune Person called God – God-Mother; Christ the the spiritual idea of Son ship; Divine Science or the Holy Comforter. “The theory of three persons in one God [that is, a personal trinity or Tri-unity] suggests polytheism, rather than the one ever present I am.” M. B. Eddy
Spiritualism:
Infinite intelligence pervades and controls the universe, is without shape or form, and is impersonal, omnipresent, and omnipotent. It teaches that the spark of divinity dwells in all [Spiritualism Is and does]. The doctrine of the trinity seems to have no adherents in the advancd circles of the spirit world. The divinity of Christ as a co-equal with the Father is universally denied. Spiritualist manual 1940
Eastern Mysticism:
Brahma, the Absolute, other than which there is nothing else-without qualities, unknowable, impersonal, beyond all appearances, changes, differences. God is all there is. All visible objects are but modifications of self existence, of an unconscious and impersonal essence which is called God. God is omnipresent and almighty, and is in the heart of everyone. In his real nature man is divine. the inner man is fully Divine. Vendetta teaches no other dogma but the divinity inherent in man, and his capacity for infinite evolution. From the Transcendental Meditation teachings. Yoga is one of six major houses of thought in Hinduism, it is derived from the Sanskrit word yug, which means to unite. … Lord Krishna speaks of the four types of yoga in the Bhagavad Gita, bhakti (devotion), jnana (knowledge), karma (action), dhyana. Jnana yoga is practised by Hindus who have spent many years perfecting the art of yoga. It is known as the ‘path of knowledge’, and Hindus use it as a way to increase their knowledge. Brahma is the first god in the Hindu triumvirate, ot trimurti. The triumvirate consists of three gods who are responsible for the creation, upkeep and destruction of the world. The other two gods are Vishnu and Shiva. Vishnu is the preserver of the universe, while Shiva’s role is to destroy it in order to re-create. Buddhists believe that the human life is one of suffering, and that meditation, spiritual and physical labor, and good behavior are the ways to achieve enlightenment, or nirvana. Bible is clear that works alone will not get anyone into heaven. Also there is No Proof anyone is reincarnated.
Baha’i Faith
Believe in the oneness of humanity and devote themselves to the abolition of racial, class, and religious prejudices. The great bulk of Bahāʾī teachings is concerned with social ethics. The faith has no priesthood and does not observe ritual forms in its worship. God is transcendent and can’t be known directly. God is known through the lives and teachings of his great prophets, the most recent of whom was Bahá’u’lláh. All human beings have a soul that lives for ever
Islam:
The Five Pillars of Islam are five basic acts in Islam, considered to be mandatory by believers and are the foundation of Muslim life. They are summarized in the famous hadith of Gabriel The Shia and Sunni both agree on the essential details for the performance and practice of these acts, but the Shia do not refer to them by the same name. They make up Muslim life, prayer, concern for the needy, self purification and the pilgrimage, if one is able. The problem is that Islam while serving only one god, Allah is not the God of the Bible. They say that Muhammad is the last prophet but Scripture is very clear about any new revelations.
Unification Church:
God Himself told me that the most basic and central truth of this universe is that God is the Father and we are His children. There is one living, eternal, and true God, a person beyond space and time – sourse of all truth, beauty, and goodness – creator and sustainer of man and the universe. God being the First Cause of all creation, also exists because of a reciprocal relationship between the dual characteristics of positivity and negativity of God “masculinity” and “femininity” respectively. God existed as the internal masculine subject, and He created the universe as His external feminine object. Man is the visible; and God is the invisible form. God and man are one. Man is incarnate God – as important in value as God Himself. Declaration of Unification Theological Affirmations
Atheism:
There is no God; we came from a primordial soup 18 billion years ago. Should be considered the same as an evolutionist. If you believe you came from nothing, how can you then claim to be part of the universal oneness?
Mormonism: [Latter Day Saints]
We believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost. This cannot rationally be construed to mean that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are one in substance and in person. There are three God’s … separate in personality, united in purpose, in plan, and in all attributes of perfection. Mormon Doctrine.
Jehovah’s Witnesses: [Watch Tower Society]
God’s personal name is Jehovah. Only Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting. Jesus is not One God with the Father. Holy Spirit is God’s Active Force, not a person. There was a time when Jehovah was alone in universal space. All life and energy and thought were contained in Him alone. The obvious conclusion is that Satan is the originator of the trinity doctrine. Elohim is the plural of majesty, it does not mean that he is mysteriously a trinity. From Watch Tower Doctrine
The Bible:
In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth. He is God; there is none else beside Him. For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God: Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therin is: which keepith truth forever. Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the Last; and beside me there is no God. Many people will tell you that they have “the answer” but the truth is we have the Bible, which is where God has chosen to reveal Himself to man… Look at any other religion no matter which one you want, you will see that everyone of them insist you work for their form of salvation. If that were the case our Lord would not have had to take our sins upon Himself.
“Nowhere in scripture are we taught “the trinity is our mother,” or that Jesus – the unique Son of God – is our true mother,” and were certainly not taught, “All shall be well.” The late Dr. Walter Martin, a very well respected evangelical apologist, was correct when he said: The vast majority of mankind; will not make it [to salvation], because they simply will not repent.” And if you don’t think these people are lost; then why in the world are you even bothering to call yourself a Christian. Study mysticism as I have, and you’ll see a common thread of universalism within it.” Ken Silva
I read a really long article written about how the Pope will be the anti-Christ and how they came up with a formula for what the # 666 means. I’m not sure how all of this falls into place, but I believe that the anti-Christ will be a political and military figure and if the Pope is involved in the last days he may be the False Profit, since that person will be a religious figure. He will also be called an Assyrian. Remember also that Satan always attempts to mimic the Lord [false miracles, etc]. So I’m sure he’ll have to come up with a false trinity. I do believe that the world as we know it is about to come to that time known as the tribulation. You must repent to be saved:
It is becoming very common to mix Hinduism with Christianity. It’s known by the name Contemplative Spirituality/Mysticism (CSM) among others. Also becoming very popular is the mixing of Islam [Chislom]. People go to a church that practices contemplative Spirituality often confuse it with what they think is “Speaking in Tonuges” or moving of the Holy Spirit. When we fall into allowing other doctrines even in a little sense, we are committing heresy. If we think we are being enlightened by following these things, it is blasphemy. Any pastor that allows even a hint of these things is not working for God, no matter how pious he seems.
Please take a good look at any religion that you may either be involved with or looking into. If it offers secret knowledege, oneness with the universe or any other unattainable goal, is it worth the chance of giving up your eternal soul? The Bible is God’s handbook for man, not a book of fairy tales. Something everyone should also know. I all religions except Christianity you have to work for your salvation. It’s not possible to earn your salvation, because it’s a penalty that only Jesus could pay. Remember it is by God’s grace alone.
Sometimes you come across a person who will seem to have the answers. this man seems like he has opened a door. But the truth is it’s just another twist to the same old stuff. God is universal and we are part of Him. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Neither Buddha, Allah [Islam’s version] , Mary, or any Saint can save you. Only Jesus is the path to Salvation. God bless
Matthew 16 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’ 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. 4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed.
In those days and today some people want to be entertained [given a sign]. The religious leaders of that day wanted to see a magic trick. Show us and we will believe, problem is they would have turned it into saying it was just a trick. Sadly there are those who still think their smarter than God. As you probably know that will never happen. The being who created everything in the universe including man. The one who determines all science is never surprised. He is so powerful He even knows our thoughts.
Mark 3;20 Then the multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. 21 But when His own people heard about this, they went out to lay hold of Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.” 22 And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebub,” and, “By the ruler of the demons He casts out demons.” This is what prompted Jesus to say 28 “Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”— 30 because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
The Septuagint renders the name as Baalzebub (βααλζεβούβ) and as Baal muian (βααλ μυιαν, “Baal of flies”). However Symmachus the Ebionite may have reflected a tradition of its offensive ancient name when he rendered it as Beelzebou * Beelzebub was the Lord of the flies. A cult formed because someone noticed that flies would land on feces. Larvae (maggots) hatch from the eggs, and a fly is born. Somehow they got the idea that is where life came from. It turned into worship of the Lord of the flies.
My plea: In my mind and millions of other peoples. Jesus is the very essence of God who came to Earth while making Himself a little lower than the Angels, taught us the way to relate to the Father. Showed the world the things promised in the Old Testament and finally gave His life as ransom for the sins of everyone who was born and who will be born. It’s the most important thing you can do. Search into who Jesus is and know for sure when you make the decision that effects your eternity.
Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; If you reject Jesus your calling the Holy Spirit [God] a liar.
The only thing we can do is meet Him at the foot of the cross, repent and seek His forgiveness. I can’t say this enough: Your eternity depends on your response to Jesus. * https://thelordsroom.org/2021/11/22/salvation-a-choice/
