2 Thessalonian 22 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

It would appear that everything flows together, but actually it’s two parts. When the Lord went into his home synagogue He read only the first part of a prophecy, because the rest is still to happen. Isaiah 61  Isaiah 61:1-2 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and freedom to the prisoners; (2) to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor, and the day of our God’s vengeance; to comfort all who mourn. Notice verse two is unfulfilled so far. 

Paul tells us when to expect the taking away [Harpadzo or Rapture]. First he says it will happen when the beast is revealed. If you look at Daniel you will see that the Anti-Christ will confirm a 7 year treaty with Israel, that begins the 7 year tribulation. It is during this time the two witnesses will stand in front of the new temple and proclaim God’s message {truth}.

What Paul is saying is that the “rapture”‘ will happen then. Not after that man sits in the temple. In verse 4 he’s telling us what the beast does. Not when the rapture happens. If you look at Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38, you will see that it hasn’t happened yet. I personally think this is what will cause them to sign a 7 year peace treaty with the Anti Christ that will confirm it.

The wedding feast and the Rapture:

Look at what happened during the engagement and the wedding feast it will give you an idea of how it relates to a pre-trib. 1. The groom would go and become engaged 1a Jesus came to earth and became engaged to His bride [the church]. 2. The groom would go and prepare a place for them. 2a Jesus said I go and prepare a place for you. 3. The father would tell the groom when it was time to go and get his bride. 3a Jesus said no one knows the time but the Father 4. The Groom would go in a procession and receive his bride.4a Christ will come and meet His bride in the air and we will all be changed. 5. The wedding feast lasted 7 days. 5a In biblical prophecy 1 day is a year. The wedding feast of the Lamb will last 7 years. Which is the time of the tribulation. It also gives us the date of His return to reign during the 1000 years. Note: Dr. Stephen Armstrong states the 7 years with the bride will be spent with us learning about the Lord and the wedding feast will take place after the Tribulation.

Rev 3:10-11 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.

You can believe that it won’t happen but if it does and and a post trib person is taken up, I bet not one will tell the Lord to send them back because it’s not biblical. 

One thing I will say in defense of those who take a different view is this. If I have misread things and we must go through the tribulation then it only means it will be a little longer until I’m called home. Otherwise nothing has changed, the Church is still the bride. But also please keep in mind that the Tribulation period is also known as Jacobs Trouble not the Churches. Israel even though it is restored is still in somewhat of a rebellion. And they still haven’t come to the Messiah. At least not all.

Also keep in mind that this isn’t a salvation issue. I have seen people from both sides of the argument become very ruthless in their attacks on other “Christians”. If your so sure of your position then why do you need to be like the world in your approach? Christ didn’t say go and make disciples and be cruel to those in the body who disagree with you. Or anyone for that matter. I actually had one person tell me that I needed to be placed in the lake of fire and tortured forever. 

He may have been right, Jesus did say in Revelation 23:10 that he would throw anyone who didn’t accept the post tribulation theory into the Lake of Fire.  Look it up! It’s also in the Book of Illusions Chapter 6 verse 7.  

A short side note: when Jesus was at the wedding feast of a friend they ran out of wine. Remember the official said most share the best first. It was because the feast lasted so long. The best was given later, just as the best is to come for His bride.

Hell and Destruction are never full: So the eyes of man are never satisfied. Proverbs 27:20“

And I say to you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has the power to cast into hell; yes I say to you, fear him! Luke 12-4-5

“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of Him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 9:38

Many people will tell you that it doesn’t exist, or ignore it completely.

Jehovah’s Witnesses: The doctrine of a burning hell, where the wicked are tortured eternally after death cannot be true. L.G.pg.99

Christian Science: Hell is “Mortal belief, error, lust, remorse, hatred, revenge, sin, sickness, death.. That which worketh abomination or maketh a lie.” SH,588:1-4

Spiritualism: Hell does not exist and never will. All spirit people of wisdom, knowledge, and love know there is no hell and no devil.

Eastern Mysticism: Heaven and hell are not excepted concepts. Karma the “Law of the dead,” of sowing and reaping, is allied with Transmigration [reincarnation] in defining the results of sin and the rewards of good.

Mormans: Most of the Adult people who have lived since Adam [having rejected Christ and lived wickedly] will go to the “Telestial Kingdom”. D & C 76:71-78

Islam: Say to those who reject Faith: “Soon will you be vanquished together to Hell, – an evil bed indeed [to lie on].” Surah 3:12

Some people have said that none of this is real it’s just a state of mind. That we’re not really here just a different plane of existence.

Lets look at the description of Hell:

Abaddon, Gehenna, Sheol, Hades, [ place of holding ]. Dr. Grabe, in his Spicilegium, sect. 1 p. 353, declares to be not only the doctrine of Enoch, but of the apostles, and of the church apostolical. None of the wicked, whether demons or men, were then cast into hellfire, nor indeed should be cast into it till the day of judgment; Mathew 8:29, Jude 6-8. The book of Enoch is not part of the cannon, but is quoted in scripture.

What this tells us is that everyone who is worldly and not of the body of Christ, will be kept in outer darkness until the “Day of Judgment”.

Revelation 17:8 – The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: * Perdition is the Lake of Fire.

The Fall of Lucifer: “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.” Isaiah 14:12-15 NKJV

Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” Matthew 13:24-30 NKJV“

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face, the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:11-15

No one escapes death, the difference is weather we wait for the judgment in outer darkness or in the light with the Lord.

“Then he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazrarus that he may dip his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.” Luke 16:24-26 This is a parable, if your in darkness there is no conversations with those in paradise.

“His winnowing [shovel Is 30:24] fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; He will burn with unquenchable fire.” Luke 3:17

When all people are resurrected, we’ll all have body’s to last for eternity. Either a glorified body given to the Saints of God, or the opposite to remain in eternal punishment. The one thing we must not forget is that Outer Darkness and the Lake of Fire mean that you will be removed from God’s Eternal Love.

Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed.” 2 Thessalonians 1:6-10

“For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this, for the hour is coming in which all who are in the grave will hear His voice and come forth, those who have done good, to the resurrecton of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.” John 5:26-30

“For in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who will render to each one according to his deeds: eternal life to those who by by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality, but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness-indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God.” Romans 2:5-9

The lake of fire spoken of in the bible is beyond any human conception. The fire is so hot that nothing in this universe can compare to it. It was created for the Devil and his fallen angels. But since the fall of Adam, rebellious man will join them. God doesn’t want anyone to be sent there, but man has always tried to do things on his own terms. That is why he put Noah and his family on the Ark. And then why he sent His Son to show us the better way.

This is what the bible says about those who are found guilty.“Shame and everlasting contempt” Daniel 12:2“

Everlasting punishment” Matthew 25:46

“Weeping and gnashing of teeth” Matthew 24:51

“Unquenchable fire” Luke 3:17“ Indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish” Romans 2:8-9

”Everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord” 2 Thes 1:9

Nobody who rejects Jesus and the Salvation He offers will escape this end. There are no exceptions. God is not willing that any should perish, the ones who deny Jesus will not see Salvation. Many people have gone their own way, but sadly it’s too late for many.

All religions have a belief about Hell [or not]. The difference between all religions everywhere and Christianity is that in all other faiths you have to do something to earn their definition of Salvation. In Christianity you have to repent your sins and seek Christ. This is done when you surrender your life to Him.

With Christ there is nothing you can do to earn salvation… “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

Rejecting Jesus or accepting his offer of salvation is up to the individual, the Lord gives everyone free choice. But he won’t be mocked. Our judicial system is based on what was handed down to Moses. Nobody is punished until their sentenced. It’s the same thing with all humans. No one will be sent to the lake of fire until their judged by Christ. All people who are not saved will wait in outer darkness until judgment day.

“For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:10b-11Rejecting Jesus’ offer of Salvation, is the sure road to damnation. Nobody will get to heaven on their own. You have the opportunity to follow Jesus and find true love and happiness, or you can reject Him and find the other path. Our Lord offers His hand, you must decide weather to take it. Please, before it’s to late; if you haven’t trusted Him, please go to the article on Salvation and consider the information very carefully. Your eternity depends on your decision.

Warning: Please don’t rely on books like 23 minutes in Hell, A Divine Revelation of Hell, or 90 minutes in Heaven. If you want the truth about either place read the Bible.

Why is hell so awful? One, it was created for satan and his demons. Secondly, because people don’t realize that hell is the absence of God.

There’s no air in hell…because God is a breath of life.

There is no peace in hell…because God is the prince of peace. There is no comfort in hell…because God is the comforter.

There is no love in hell…because God is love.

Hell is darkness…because God is the light.

You don’t have to go there!

There is only one way to escape it, and that is through Salvation in the name of Jesus Christ.

The people of God, in affliction, confess and bewail their sins, owning themselves unworthy of his mercy. Sin is that abominable thing which the Lord hates. Our deeds, whatever they may seem to be, if we think to merit by them at God’s hand, are as rags, and will not cover us; filthy rags, and will but defile us. Even our few good works in which there is real excellence, as fruits of the Spirit, are so defective and defiled as done by us, that they need to be washed in the fountain open for sin and uncleanness. It bodes ill when prayer is kept back. To pray, is by faith to take hold of the promises the Lord has made of his good-will to us, and to plead them; to take hold of him, earnestly begging him not to leave us; or soliciting his return. They brought their troubles upon themselves by their own folly. Sinners are blasted, and then carried away, by the wind of their own iniquity; it withers and then ruins them. When they made themselves as an unclean thing, no wonder that God loathed them. Foolish and careless as we are, poor and despised, yet still Thou art our Father. It is the wrath of a Father we are under, who will be reconciled; and the relief our case requires is expected only from him. They refer themselves to God. They do not say, “Lord, rebuke us not,” for that may be necessary; but, “Not in thy displeasure.” They state their lamentable condition. See what ruin sin brings upon a people; and an outward profession of holiness will be no defence against it. How few call upon the Lord with their whole hearts, or stir themselves to lay hold upon him! God may delay for a time to answer our prayers, but he will, in the end, answer those who call on his name and hope in his mercy.

You can’t earn or buy your way into heaven. There are far to many misguided Christians that have been led to believe that Jesus’ purpose is to make them rich. Our Lord didn’t die on the cross so you could prosper. He did it out of love so that man has a path to Salvation.

Discernment

There are many people giving their opinions about a certain aspects of the Christian walk. I was listening to a man spouting some nonsense that had very little to do with God’s word. At least in the way God means it.

Although he was using Scripture to make his plea for something, when I read the Scripture it turned out that he had used the verse to say something it didn’t mean, {and yes I know that is a shock}.That of course happens when we see people who call themselves teachers, pastors, evangelist, etc. But their agenda is different than what the Lord’s truth is.

If a person tells you to plant a seed for instance… many times in todays Church they are telling you something that is in exact opposite of what God wants from you. When He said I want to bless you, He didn’t say send me money to get my blessings. He said live as I would have you live, etc. Planting a seed in many ministries today is from the prosperity gospel, and has very little to do with God’s plan.

I came to this conclusion; if someone says something as if their speaking for God you should do two things.1. If they quote Scripture… Verify that it really says what their saying. You can’t just take a verse and make it doctrine, you have to verify it with the bible itself to make sure that verse means what the person is saying. It is easy enough to go to the verse and at least read the chapter it is in and see what the author is really saying.2. If a teacher is telling you something about you’re walk with Christ… Please verify that it agrees with Scripture!

If someone tells you about a subject and it contradicts Gods word and thy are bringing Leaven into the Church. Even a little twist brings corruption and eventually can grow. The most prominent idea associated with leaven is in connection with the corruption of God’s people or His Church. If I preach to you a gospel of prosperity then eventually people can accept that if you give a dollar amount. This is a tactic used by many false teachers.

Discernment is the process of making careful distinctions in our thinking about truth. In other words, the ability to think with discernment is synonymous with an ability to think biblically. God will never tell you something that contradicts whats in His word. A little leaven will infect the whole batch of dough. The same is true in the church, a little twist of scripture can open the door for more false teaching.

In essence if someone tells you something that goes against the Word of God That person is a liar. So no matter how good it sounds, make sure it is in His Word.

Again: Remember The Holy Spirit will not tell someone something that He hasn’t already said. And He certainly won’t contradict Himself.

I usually run when I hear someone say “God told me” This makes it hard to question because that person brings God into it and then you have to be careful about ‘challenging God’. And believe it or not most people who say that are counting on it. You don’t have to say “God told” me because if it agrees with Scripture, it’s already in there!

I have said this many times Discernment is a precious gift from God.

Discernment is given through prayer and study. You may have the gift, but you must do it God’s way. Or else your just fooling yourself. It is given to His Church for a reason… we have been warned from the very beginning that false teachers and pastors would be in amongst us.If a person starts to bring other teachings into the Christian doctrine we must be aware of it. If a Christian teacher tells you that God has opened a new way and that you can have a closer walk with Him, if you let your spirit guide you, that person weather knowing it or not is opening the way for Hindu teaching in the church. Spirit guides, as their called are known in the bible as Familiar Spirits. They in essence are demons.

Demons have one agenda…it is to bring strange things into the church so that it will fail. Then we have a lot of people happy in their destruction thinking they are pleasing God. When in essence they are doing something God hates.

If you fall for all this stuff your putting yourself and anyone you bring along into grave danger.

Please get a commentary and first and foremost pray. You need to arm yourselves against destructive teachings.

Satan is a very devious person. He doesn’t come after people in just one direction. His purpose is to divide and conquer. If Satanism doesn’t work how about Islam, etc.

The following list of paths are just some of the things he uses. The bottom line is that we have God’s Word, and in His word He tells us about the things that separates man from a relationship with Him. The Church is given the gift of discernment for a reason.

It might seem strange to see Harry Potter on the list. I don’t know anything about the author, but this is not about her. The real issue is that witchcraft is against God’s word. Books and movies like that try to show us there is nothing to worry about. Satan is very good at opening very innocent looking doors, but can lead to dangerous places. In reality witchcraft is evil and will lead to damnation if you participate in it.

Something else that happens is people ignoring God’s word and telling others that they will be blessed or cursed by performing a certain deed. etc: If you don’t do this God will curse you. Usually to elevate their worth and not honor God. Sadly there are some false teachers who work through “ministries” to show us how to cast out demons, etc. The answer to that is very simple. ‘Prayer’ in Jesus’ Name [only].

The normalization of deviance is deadly.

The normalization of deviance is defined as: “The gradual process through which unacceptable practice or standards become acceptable. As the deviant behavior is repeated without catastrophic results, it becomes the social norm for certain aspects of society. It is gradually forced or just accepted by Society, until it gives the impression of being normal. Another thing that happens a lot is horrible things will happen. Like the Covid pandemic. And watching governments controlling every aspect of people’s lives. Which can cause people to forget about God. When in reality that is when we need Him most.

These examples are just a small part of Satan’s tricks, only part of what man is up against.

One thing I have been noticing a lot more lately is “Christians” using the very sad excuse of “Judge not”. But John 7:24 tells us. “Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”

Please keep in mind that while Satan is very powerful, nobody is more powerful than God. Keeping yourself in the protection of the Lord is the only real safety. Reading Scripture and Prayer are our strongest weapons. The world is rapidly becoming ungodly showing that the Lord was correct when He said it would be like in the days of Noah.

Acts 1 The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, 3 to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.

The first thing you should notice is that they are both addressed to Theophilus. Paul was on trial in Rome and his coworker in the Lord was the Physician Luke. Theophilus was the lead investigator for the court of Cesar. Cesar was going to decide Paul’s fate and Theophilus brought in the evidence. The two books Luke wrote were written not only about the beginning Church but also how Paul played a role.

The letters were in essence affidavits; a written statement confirmed by oath or affirmation, for use as evidence in court. Luke had a first hand account of everything and was more than qualified to testify.

These two letters or books in the New Testament not only give solid evidence they are part of the Canon. Church fathers added them because they were inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Since this is such a sensitive issue lets take a deep breath. This post is not an attack on anyone.

It’s one group saying God hates this and another your haters and God loves everyone. And yet another group not taking a side and standing in the middle. We all want it to be our way and that is where it has become a problem.

In Biblical times a homosexual was put to death, In Islam many still are killed because that is what their religion demands. In God’s word it says it’s an abomination and that is just one reason why people reject Him because they refuse to go against a loved one or a friend, etc. Today for the most part people aren’t physically attacked and some are even considered hero’s for “coming out”. This post is not about advocating harm or hatred, but making sure you know where God stands.

I am going to take a biblical stand on this, but not like some would think.1st we don’t kill people and our laws have changed in regards to the situation… But lets look at what the Lord says, He has given mankind many examples of why we shouldn’t do certain things, and generally these things are because He knows they separate us from Him. You can say I will commit adultery it’s nobody’s business but mine. Or just a little lie it won’t hurt. You can say it’s really normal and I can show you many pieces of evidence that backs that up. But it still goes back to what separates us from God. We are given information in His Word about how to respond to Him. What He expects and the knowledge that sin is anything that separates us from Him.

In today’s society many things have become acceptable and many people don’t think twice about it. They go on with their lives and ignore whatever they refuse to look at. But the problem is that one day every person will stand before Jesus and give an accounting for our choices. You can reject whatever you wish, it will make no difference. Because God is the only true authority!

There are groups like Westboro Baptist Church that go around being very hateful and attacking everyone, without understanding that we are to love everyone, not by ignoring what is done, but in love just trying to warn others and point out the biblical answer. If you think your supposed to scream or even act out violence against others, then you have no understanding of what Jesus wants us to do.

This is not about hating anyone or trying to shame people. Please understand that even if you believe you’re correct and others are telling you that everything is ok, this post is really about how God tells us what He accepts and what He won’t. The verses haven’t changed to this day, nor will they. It’s not just the homosexual, it’s anyone who insists on being apart from God. And in the end do you come to God on His terms or yours? Because if it’s yours then your outside of God’s will.1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. As you can see it’s not just one group that needs to be warned.

If your offended I am sorry but this is not about attacking anyone. But if your afraid to look at the truth, maybe you need to be offended. ‘My heart is for the unsaved, and that is why I have to tell the truth. Nobody can make a person not have certain feelings but acting on them is another story.  It really comes down to weather you follow God or yourself.

Having emotions like looking at the same sex or being attracted to a person are not abnormal things per say, it comes down to weather you act on them or not. But remember what Jesus said about if you look with lust.

The final part of this is very simple. We are all sinners and that means nobody is better than the next person. But to be able to be with God we must be born again.

The Law

The Law

There are some people who have come to believe that if they don’t get back to their Jewish roots they miss the boat. Of course I am talking about those who aren’t Jewish. But people who want to get back to the law and make sure that it’s the only way to salvation.

I was in a chat room and the conversation went on for a good period of time and I was given verses that showed how the law had to be followed to be in the will of God. I explained that we were not to push the Law aside because Jesus said He came to fulfill the Law not change it.

That did no good because apparently I still missed the point. And the Law was given as the only answer. My response was very simple. Jesus came and paid the price on the cross because we are incapable of being good enough to satisfy the Law. It was only through Him that we are able to receive God’s grace.

Conclusion: my comments were deleted because of my answer. I was not aware that some who came to Yeshua could hate Jesus. Really blew my mind. Considering that Jesus is Yeshua.

Here’s what this is all about If you think your going to make “points” with God because you all of a sudden become legalistic then you have missed the reason Jesus came in the first place. If you think you can be good enough to get to heaven you don’t understand that if it were true… Jesus wouldn’t have had to die on the cross for you.

Pure and simple fact your a sinner just like everyone else, you are condemned because you were born in sin. You can’t fix that by yourself, you must go through Jesus alone. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Many people try to twist that or change it and allow for any other means, but the truth is their liars and if you follow their lead, it will lead you directly into damnation.

  • All Spiritual Gifts are given by the Holy Spirit to the Church as He sees where they are needed. When your saved you are given at least one of these gifts, but that doesn’t mean we are restricted to just one. For instance most people who have the gift of Pastor and usually also have the gift of teaching.
  • One last point about the office of Apostle, it has certain qualifications. Apostles have all the Spiritual Gifts and they had personal contact with Jesus. Like Paul the last apostle who after he was saved went to Arabia and studied there, and of course on the road to Damascus. That is the reason I think the office of Apostle is no longer valid.
  • But keep in mind that I don’t have the decision making power about it. So, as with all gifts, the Holy Spirit is the one who decides.
